Cornish Holiday Cottages, 3 miles from Port Isaac
Our holiday cottages are in a quiet rural location at Higher Trewiggett, about 10 minutes drive away from Port Isaac. Enjoy visiting Port Isaac while staying at a peaceful location nearby, with plentiful parking.
Our holiday cottages are all of tradional stone construction. The cottages are well appointed and convenient for surfing at Polzeath, sailing at Rock, golfing at Roserrow, Bowood, St Kew and St Endellion and walking along the North Cornwall coastal path.
Higher Trewiggett is close to the boundaries of two officially designated areas, one being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the North Cornwall Coast from Pentire Point to Widemouth, and the second being the Area of Great Landscape Value of the Camel and Allen Valleys. There are magnificent cliffs and secluded coves, fishing villages and rugged stretches of open moorland nearby, ideal for anyone who is enthusiastic about the outdoors.
Port Isaac, the historic fishing village, famous for the TV series Doc Martin and the shanty singers Fishermans Friends, is a short drive away. Port Isaac offers a wide range of cafés and eateries including two Michelin starred chefs.
Within 7 miles are wonderful sandy beaches including Porthilly, Polzeath and Daymer Bay. The popular coastal village of Rock is also just 7 miles away, whose sailing club, restaurants and local shops are famous around the world. Overlooking the Camel Estuary and a haven for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, boating and fishing, Rock is a short ferry ride away from Rick Stein’s base in Padstow.
